About
Meet Hannah Baier
River Road Horsemanship grew out of one belief: great riders are made by understanding horses, not just sitting on them.
Hannah's story
Hannah Baier has spent her life around horses. After earning a degree in Equine Sciences from Colorado State University, she worked and trained on equestrian farms around the world, learning how the best programs keep both horses and riders healthy and happy.
She founded River Road Horsemanship in Medford, Oregon to teach English riding the way she believes it should be taught — grounded in real horsemanship, paced to the rider, and centered on safety and kindness at every step.
Today she works with riders of all ages across the Rogue Valley, from first-time students to experienced riders preparing for more advanced disciplines.
Our philosophy
Horses and riders that are happy, healthy, safe, and kind. Every lesson is built around those four words — for the horse as much as for the rider.
